Brief:
Hills Office Furniture contacted San-IT
with the need of improving their current network infrastructure. Managing
Director Paul Simpson said “the network runs really slow with services
and hardware constantly breaking down. Employees are becoming increasingly
frustrated with this and I feel we need to renew the entire system to
make it a true business tool”.
Solution:
San-IT conducted a full infrastructure
audit report and suggested a full technology refresh consisting of new
servers, workstations, firewall, and a backup solution.
To keep business disruptions to a minimum,
San-IT were able to run two systems concurrently with the final migration
taking place over a weekend. San-IT were available to provide training
for employees to ensure a smooth transition back into their job responsibilities.
