 Recycling & Disposal
We’re fully aware and understand
the EU legislations regarding the disposal of waste electrical and electronic
equipment (The WEEE Directive). But we’ve gone on step further.
We like to do our bit for the environment
hence the safe disposal and recycling of IT equipment. But also, where
feasible, we will professionally refurbish equipment and donate it to
one of several charities whom we deal with, not only in this country,
but to third world countries too.
In addition to the above, we’ll
do this free of charge for customers who have purchased their new hardware
from San-IT, so you don’t have to pay a penny for the disposal.
Customers wishing to have obsolete IT disposed of who are not active San-IT
customers will be charged a fee which varies per item. Please contact
us for further details.
We’ll take care of it, here’s
what we do:
- Fast and friendly collection of required equipment
- The guarantee of secure data wiping and removal
of security markings stc
- The refurbishment of equipment (where feasible)
to donate to charities
- Environmentally friendly disposal inline with WEEE
